Our children deserve the best education, and that starts with proper support, resources, and funding.
In my first term, I ensured that our neighborhood schools obtained funding necessary to continue to be exceptional, and assisted in developing:
Outdoor Green Space at both Volta and Peterson Elementary Schools (pictured)
Renovated Greenhouse at Northside Learning Center
Pollinator Learning Gardens
Community Murals throughout the 39th Ward
An Addition at Sauganash School to address severe overcrowding
Renovated Cafeteria and Hallway Improvements at Von Steuben Metro Science High School
